NEW DIRECTIONS FOR WOMEN SCHOLARSHIP
HONORING THE LIFE AND LEGACY
OF CRISTINA MATRONOLA

The Red Songbird Foundation is excited to present, in conjunction with New Directions for Women, a 60-day full-continuum treatment scholarship honoring the life and legacy of Cristina Matronola, the mother of world famous jazz guitarist, Fabrizio Sotti!

Since 1977, over 5,000 women have entered the doors of New Directions Women, over 600 children have lived on campus, and 200 babies have been born to mothers completing their program. By providing exceptional gender-specific addiction treatment services that are family-centered, they promote healthy parenting, prevent domestic violence, and assist in family reunification. While they are nationally known for serving women with their children and pregnant women, they truly serve all women, including the more mature population, helping them reunify with their family as a sober grandmother and mother.

New Directions is committed to supporting and treating all women. They are a rehab for women, with a model designed by women. Their directed approach caters to the variables women face in life and in treatment. At New Directions, their women-focused model has proven to be more effective long term than attending a traditional co-ed program. Women and men have different needs, and we believe that treatment modalities should reflect that.

The Red Songbird Foundation is grateful to New Directions for Women, who have collaborated with RSF for an opportunity to an individual seeking healing and a better way of life with her child.
