The Red Songbird Foundation is excited to present The Brusco Family Scholarship, a 7-day inpatient detoxification treatment scholarship!

The Red Songbird Foundation has partnered with Ocean Recovery, based in Orange County, CA to provide an opportunity for a gender specific detoxification scholarship (male). The 7-day scholarship is for an individual needing medical support in the stabilization off of drugs and alcohol. Ocean Recovery has successfully treated those struggling with substance abuse issues and mental health since 2002, and is highly sought after for their quality clinical care and comprehensive treatment approach.

The Red Songbird Foundation is grateful to be able to scholarship costs pertaining to the treatment program because of the generosity of the Brusco family.

The only cost to the applicant is any travel costs to Orange County, CA and ancillary costs pertaining to his wellbeing.

Ancillary costs include toiletries, cigarettes, and any other personal effects not in conjunction with treatment.

Criteria: Client will need to be over the age of 18 and have an ability to clear a pre-admission assessment with Ocean Recovery Admissions. Extensive health issues may impact clinical appropriateness. Client will need to have ongoing substance use issues with any mental health diagnoses secondary to a substance use disorder.

Criteria for Applicants:

✓ Male
✓ Struggling with substance abuse
✓ Financially unable to afford flight arrangements
✓ Willing and able to travel to Orange County, CA (if applicable)
✓ Want and willingness to take direction towards a better life
✓ Ability to relocate after 7-day detox (if not Local to Southern California)
